Hi. I was a young camper at Forestcraft in 1976. Jonathan Wells was good friend and sent me the link to this website. I was 11 years old at the time of my one summer at Forestcraft. My name is Peter Walsh and I will always remember those weeks in both the Adirondacks and Northern Canada. Some of the most awesome experiences of my young life. Many blessings to the family of Ted B. What a great man! We will miss him.
PS: In the photos, I’m the guy is several of the pictures who’s wearing a red felt hat. Also, another younger camper pictured is David Ott — hes the long blond haired kid who has a portrait in the group (it’s labeled unidentified).
Is the camp still going to continue? I will be in the Adirondacks in July 10-20 staying at the Ausable club and would love to visit the camp if it’s still existing.
